Miami Beach Group Events

Miami is a major tourist destination bustling with group activities. The days in Miami seem short as the beaches have many tournaments and events taking place through the year.

Miami dolphin fishing tournament are held in the month of June. This tournament is part of The Dolphin Foundation and is organized annually for the conservation and protection of these beautiful and intelligent creatures.

The Miami swordfish tournament held from 24th -25th of September is another big Miami Beach group event to look forward to. The meat of this fish is not as preferred by most.

“The catch” that is hooked during these competitions are often caught and then released back into the Miami waters. This is one of the ways by which Miami is contributing to its sea population. Catch and release is a strict regulation applied for sailfish and other endangered fish.

The winner receives the largest lobster and many other cash prizes that can be won. Also don’t miss out on the chance to be crowned the king of spiny lobster season.

There are annual boat shows and competitions that are held through out the year. Like the Miami international boat show and strictly sail Miami which are held from 17th-21st February. The melges midwinter championship and Miami grand prix sailboat regatta held in March are some of the Miami Beach group events you can participate in.
